In this blog post I will provide you with the code necessary to read the contents of a text box line by line. Why would this ever be useful? Personally I am using this feature so that I may read in comma delimited values that I will be pasting into the text box and uploading to a database.
Although this example is not that elaborate, it does show you how to at least read the data from the text box and output the data into the a label below the button. If you have any questions or need help implementing this code into your web project, send me an e-mail.
Before I get into the code, I want to show you a few screenshots of the the pages will look like in the visual studio designer and the web browser before and after the program has been executed.
Below is a a link to the Google Docs where you can get the code. I like the way Google Docs preserves the formatting.
